Like many television homes, the home at 6151 Richmond Street is spatially impossible. Add to that the errors in continuity and inconsistencies provided by the dialogue, usually due to oversights by the script supervisors, and what appears as a fashionable Miami home, is really more of a fun house. Unless you live at 1020 Palm Drive or 1164 Morning Glory Circle, most TV homes defy explanation in some way.
The exterior shots of the house do not match the interior of the house, which was filmed on a soundstage. The exterior shots were taken of a house in the Brentwood district of Los Angeles until a replica façade was built at Disney's Hollywood Studios near Orlando, Florida. This façade, along with the rest of Residential Street, was razed in 2003 when Disney wanted the space for the Lights! Motors! Action! stunt show. Our interactive floor plan was drawn by Bryant Critcher, who did a great job including most of the visual and verbal details of the house given in the series. For purposes here, descriptions are based on this floor plan, though some notes on incongruities have been included.
